We created a cinematic brand film for The Ned Doha that captures the hotel not simply as a destination, but as a living sequence of moments. An unfolding journey experienced through the eyes of a travelling photographer on her final assignment.
The film moves fluidly through the space, beginning with her arrival and drifting into a tapestry of interconnected stories.
Each transition is designed as a visual “memory,” using match cuts and continuous motion to seamlessly link experiences, from the warmth of dining to the cool serenity of the pool, from sunrise breakfasts to vibrant evening brunches.
The Ned is portrayed as both nostalgic and contemporary, where heritage architecture meets modern Doha, and where every corner offers something unexpected. The film culminates with the photographer reflecting on the moments she has captured, reinforcing the idea that The Ned is not just a place to stay, but a place where memories are created, documented, and shared.

Growth isn’t accidental, it’s designed.
We made a sharp, character-led commercial introducing “Mr Big” as both myth and mindset for Qatar Financial Centre’s rebrand.
He’s an embodiment of ambition that scales with every decision. Through precise, cinematic moments, QFC is revealed not as a backdrop, but as the catalyst; streamlining, enabling, accelerating.

Working with GREY agency for Doha Bank, we used the motif of a pearl (and their savings account - Al Dana) not as an object, but as a feeling - to move, gather, and connect people.
We captured real moments of pause, with people looking up, drawn into something bigger than themselves. Shot in the most beautiful natural light, to give warmth and timelessness.

LAWH WA QALAM: M.F. Husain Museum Brand Film
Step into Maqbool Fida Husain’s creative vision uniting art, culture, and learning at the heart of Education City, Doha.
Maqbool Fida Husain (1913–2011), fondly known as M. F. Husain, was a visionary artist whose boundless creativity reshaped modern art. From his early days painting cinema billboards in India to becoming one of the most influential contemporary artists in the world, Husain’s unconventional and prolific journey included painting, sculpture, film, poetry, and design. His unconfined style and visual language drew from history, culture, and everyday life, speaking to audiences across generations.
Directing this film was a great honor. The desire to bring M. F. Husain’s work to life (quite literally) was great challenge. Working with the incredible team at HIGHEND VFX, we were able to craft a truly memorable journey for one imaginative boy during a class trip to the museum.

You don’t see it in this edit but this one pushed the boundaries of storytelling with Qatar Airways.
Built on advanced AI, the experience allowed anyone to step inside the narrative by adapting to the characters in real time to reflect their likeness, identity, and presence.
You could be the hero. More than a campaign, it was a shift towards a deeply personal, immersive brand form of storytelling.
A new kind of airline film. One where you don’t just watch the story.

Run Your Own Race” follows a simple idea: no two journeys look the same.
From early morning city streets to quiet desert trails, we move with a wide mix of runners - from kids finding their stride, seasoned athletes pushing limits, and older generations running for the joy of it. Each frame captures a different pace, a different reason, a different story.
It’s not about who finishes first, but about showing up, starting, and continuing. Every race is valid, as long as it’s yours to run.

Buckle up for this, because safety that comes from the Hart... lands differently.
THE FILM HOUSE worked on this project with Kevin Hart and Tim Story to reimagine the traditional in-flight safety film for Qatar Airways, turning a routine moment into something genuinely watchable.
Bringing together a global cast including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Khaby Lame, Anwar Jibawi, Amal Jibawi, and Adam Waheed, the film uses humour and personality to cut through distraction and hold attention where it matters most.
The intention was simple: make safety impossible to ignore. By leaning into entertainment, timing, and star power, the film reframes essential instructions as a shared cultural moment rather than background noise.
Service deluxe by THE FILM HOUSE.

With this film for Qatari Diar, the intention is to shift the new Lusail app from being perceived as a utility into something intuitive, almost invisible; a natural extension of daily life.
Rather than explaining features, the films demonstrate them through story: curiosity in The Mission, and everyday struggle in Man from Gym.
Each scenario begins with effort, confusion, or friction, and resolves seamlessly through the app, reinforcing the idea that Lusail is not just a place, but a connected, responsive environment.
For Qatari Diar, the goal was to position Lusail as a city that anticipates needs and simplifies life. These films aim to feel warm, human, and accessible, while subtly showcasing innovation, making the technology feel less like a tool, and more like a companion.

In this documentary, key figures who have helped shape Qatar’s football legacy talk about the nation’s journey to becoming the sporting hub it is today.
Through interviews and archival footage, it traces the passion for football that has always been at the heart of Qatar, from early matches played in the sand and gravel, to the 1980s national team whose achievements shocked the world and the sport’s explosive popularity under the leadership of His Highness the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The Qatar Airways burgundy carpet. A living thread that pulls us back into the world.
It’s about that feeling we’ve all missed; New places, unfamiliar sounds, small human moments that stay with you.
As the carpet moves, we slip between destinations, cultures, and reunions, all in one continuous flow. Qatar Airways doesn’t just take you places, it reconnects you with the world.

A film we made for the launch of the “Women in Conflict Zones” initiative by the Qatar Fund for Development. Played on 23.09.22 at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 77).
The statistics that come out from women and girls caught up in conflict are astounding. Displacement, abuse, abandonment. The threat of sexual violence, torture, and risk to livelihoods rises astronomically. Education, healthcare, and the propensity to care diminishes extraordinarily. Sixty per cent of maternal deaths take place in crisis. It’s insane.
Even with respect to peacekeeping, when women are included in peace agreements, the likelihood that they will last at least 15 years increases by 35 per cent.
The bottom line is that women suffer immensely in conflict, but when they are empowered, they can exist. With support, even despite conflict, women can look after themselves, their loved ones and their communities.
Qatar Fund for Development’s 'Women in Conflict' initiative allows for various projects and interventions that support women in conflict and fragile settings, in the form of humanitarian aid and developmental assistance.
Thank you @qatar_fund for allowing us the opportunity to make this film.

Boundaries.
Do you like them? Do you need them? Do you peer over them? Wish you were on the other side of them?
Intrinsically and conceptually, this film for Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Doha Forum 2022 is about boundaries. On one side, the world we take for granted, and on the other, the side we don’t do enough about.
We’ve always been about boundaries. From communities and nation-states, to colonialism, protecting, expanding, contracting. We have them within us, and these days it’s ok to talk about them, it’s even encouraged. It’s probably the dichotomy that exists within all of us, the idea of letting people in and keeping people out.
There’s us, and there’s them.
But, until we really cross the boundary, with curiosity, affability - love, even - we’ll never truly create a global value system. A truly global village that sees equity, equality, sharing, caring, giving to give and not to receive, a distribution of wealth for the sake of it and not the mandate. Common goals and common good.
Idealism, right? Maybe not.
Inspired by, and with the blessing of, Uğur Gallenkuş. Removed from, but in acknowledgement of that incredible Nike ad. And made by The Film House Qatar.
Further to the opening film, we made the 20th Edition Film, combing material from the last 20 years of the Forum and real-world imagery from poverty to conflict, and climate change to xenophobia. That film can be seen here.

We created a 45 second combined teaser for QM spring exhibitions, Picasso / Giacometti and JR Repertoire.
In collaboration with the Musée national Picasso and the Fondation Giacometti, Qatar Museums presented the first exhibition dedicated to the work of two of the most important artists of the twentieth century, Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) and Alberto Giacometti (1901-1966), at the Fire Station - Artist in Residence in Doha.
JR is amongst a handful of world-renowned artists that combines art and engaged actions through large-scale outdoor installations, films, photographs and videos, using the streetscape as his canvas and his inspiration, which he claims as the largest art gallery in the world. He remains anonymous and doesn't explain his work, allowing the subjects, protagonists, spectators and passers by to raise their own questions.

Njoud Al-Kubaisi is a remarkable communicator and one of the region’s youngest sign language interpreters.
We were fortunate enough to work with this amazing 13- year-old on Qatar Financial Centre's TVC for Ramadan aimed at raising awareness about the challenges faced by the hearing-impaired and encouraging companies to integrate them within their workforce. Filmed entirely in Souq Waqif, we used the phantom camera to create super slow motion visuals that took us into a heightened reality.
The film became incredibly popular through the month of Ramadan, on tv channels and on social, garnering support from even the highest levels of the Royal family.

As a result, people with disabilities do not enjoy access to society on an equal basis with others, which includes areas of transportation, employment, and education as well as social and political participation.
This call to action animation was crafted for the 'International Day for Persons with Disabilities', with Shafallah a non-profit center dedicated to children with special needs.

Success can be brought to us by both nature and nurture. Maryam Al-Ali, a Qatari athlete, wanted to be a footballer when she grew up.
She wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps. Mubarak Al-Ali is one of Qatar’s most celebrated footballers of all time, playing in a period when Qatar had an extraordinary group of gifted players. As Maryam grew, however, she found a greater love for horses and has been competing at the highest level of show-jumping for the last few years. This is the short commercial story of where she gets her determination. Great success comes from great support. Congratulations to Maryam, Qatar Financial Centre’s new brand ambassador.

In an effort to raise awareness to the citizens of Qatar on the daily functions and importance of the Ministry of Development Planning & Statistics, a memorable, clear and poignant film was nurtured.
Being a major contributor toward the Qatar 2030 Vision, The Ministry is looking to draw more attention to the quintessential work they do. The Ministry is a cornerstone for, not only the rapidly building city but also for the citizens, who in most cases are totally unaware of the services that are open for them.

To celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan and stress the importance of precious resource conservation, we were commissioned to create two films that take us back to the early days of Qatar.
Tarsheed, under the patronage of HH The Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has a mission to ensure Qatar’s resources are protected for the benefit of future generations. In this epic journey, we are transported to the early 1900’s where two camel riders search the endless desert for a source of water, careful of every drop of their reserves.

Al Jazeera came to The Film House to create a cinematic documentary teaser to promote and celebrate a special tenth year for the documentary festival.
With the festival's theme of 'Steps', we used that literally and figuratively to convey what it means to move forward in life as we grow and take on new challenges. With a quick turnaround shoot, we're always grateful to Al Jazeera for letting us express ourselves with an epic cinematic documentary look and feel. Special thanks to Variable and KittyFrido who garnished the piece with their extraordinary and lovely holi and freediver shots.

There are no barriers to a good friendship.
Being a buddy is about sharing, inspiring and encouraging another person. As good friends are hard to find, Best Buddies pairs-up friends-to-be, and in doing so breaks down barriers to communication for people with disabilities. Our film, supported by Qatar Financial Centre, aimed to give Best Buddies Qatar a powerfully communicative and energising piece of content that we hope will resonate throughout Qatar and the Best Buddies International organisation. The concept behind the film began with a very simple thought… There are no barriers to a good friendship. And so, to emphasise this, we created a visual barrier using the motif of a split screen, through which our buddies communicate, engage, chat and have fun, despite the very present divide in the screen.
As they break through this barrier, they prove that great friendships conquer all.

We crafted a promotional animation for Accessible Qatar
Accessible Qatar, an initiative by Sasol, is a smart phone application and website, where the disabled community is able to view the public and touristic locations and outlets in Qatar and see whether they are accessible and in what way.
Combining expertly-audited accessibility data with user-submitted reviews and ratings, the disabled community and tourists will be able to move about more confidently, knowing they can arrive and leave any spot without unwelcomed surprises that limit access.
Having accessibility information publicly available on Accessible Qatar will encourage venues to make necessary modifications in support of accessibility for all patrons. Accessible Qatar will support promoting Qatar as an accessible destination.

Behind every successful business person, is a partnership with Vodafone Business.
Every businessman has a story to tell. This is the story of Mohamed Jaidah of Jaidah Group and how his communications infrastructure blossomed as a result of Vodafone Qatar’s support.
The message is corporate, but the visual language is delicate and powerfully cognizant of what it’s like to be a success businessman.
Playing on the concept of ‘vision'; the vision of successful businessmen - those that see what others don’t; those that think beyond the ordinary, and imagine something far greater on their pathway to success, we painted each scene with the most beautiful of suggestive imagery.
Many thanks to Vodafone for embracing this visually strong look for their commercial.
